Job description
1. Planning and dispatching
- Create daily planning for our 18 drivers in an efficient manner, taking into account rest times and leave days
- Give assignments to drivers, with all necessary information and details
- Review incoming transport orders via email
- Respond quickly and adequately to unexpected orders and changes
2. Administrative tasks - Other tasks
- Control and post-processing of services performed
- Handle deviations reported by the driver
- Manage leave arrangements for drivers
- Contacts with clients
- Monitor cleanliness of cars
- Manage vehicle inspection appointments
3. On-call service
You are on call in rotation. This means that during these days outside office hours you are available and reachable to take immediate action when a driver cannot drive, a vehicle breaks down, in case of delays and extra last-minute assignments
Profile
1. Job requirements
- Preferably several years of experience as planner-dispatcher, or a great affinity with the transport sector
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
- You speak Dutch very well and have good basic knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good geographical knowledge of Belgium is a plus.
